The “Afonczenko” Stand

Whilst many where off on well earned breaks after Christmas, member and coach George Afonczenko set to work on his master piece at Team Carlo.  George designed and pre-made our new grandstand seating in the main hall.  What was originally going to be a day of ‘knocking things together’ stretched into an entire week of 43+ degree temperatures and a lot of hard work.  We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and hope our members will enjoy the finished seating.  We are so grateful to George, not only for the wonderful addition to our club but for also giving up a week of his precious family time over the Christmas period.  Here are some photos during the constrcution.
